Update Any Table In MOM with Values from a Spreadsheet!(For the data-savvy person only!)Cost: $495Suppose your vendor sends you a new cost sheet, and you not only need to do a massive price update to your Supplier page for these products, but need to increase the retail price as well? Do you hire a college student at minimum wage and give them a week to do the data entry into MOM? Do you stay after work for a month and do it yourself? Wouldn't you prefer to have a simple spreadsheet with the product code, the new retail price, and the new supplier cost for the hundreds or thousands of products that need updating, and run a nice program that maps your spreadsheet to MOM and updates the fields...all in a matter of seconds? Axton Enterprises has created a program that will let you update the MOM tables with a simple spreadsheet! You need to understand something about the data structure of MOM so that you can identify the table in question and map your spreadsheet fields with the matching MOM fields accurately. (WARNING WARNING WARNING: Not doing this correctly will thoroughly mess up your data, and we take no responsibility for misuse of this program.) In other words, this program is for data people only, NOT for MOM novices. 
The program works first by asking you to identify the locations of your spreadsheet and the MOM tables. There should be two kinds of fields in your spreadsheet: At least one matching field (you can have multiple matching fields that need to be satisfied in order for the data to be updated, and it can work with partial fields as well as complete fields... for example, you can update stock items for everything that has "CH" in characters 4 and 5 of the stock number), and at least one update field (although only one update field is identified for each time you run the program). A special setup screen lets you map each of the fields in your spreadsheet to its corresponding field in the MOM table. Then you push a button, and it updates the fields in your MOM table, without even the need for any of your users to exit MOM! Note: This program does NOT add records to a table; it simply changes records that are already there. Possible uses of this program:
